Share Your Certificate on LinkedIn
Completion requirements
Log in to LinkedIn:
- Go to LinkedIn and log in with your credentials
Go to Your Profile:
- Click on your profile picture or name to navigate to your profile.
Add Certification:
- Scroll down to the "Licenses & Certification" section. If you don't see it, click on the "+" icon or the "Add profile section" button.
Fill in Certification Details:
- Name: Title of the certification
- Issuing Organization: Cumulocity IoT (when you start to type the Issuing Organization field, it will search LinkedIns database and populate with potential matches.)
- You can also add further information, but is is not required. The certificate has no expiration date. Verification of the certificate is available via QR code on the certificate PDF.
- Issue Date
- Expiration Date
- Credential ID
- Credential URL: you can add the QR code URL as shown on your certificate PDF.
Add PDF to Media Section:
- Unfortunately, LinkedIn doesn't directly support uploading PDFs in the "Licenses & Certifications" section. However, you can upload your PDF as media in the "Featured" section or "About" section.
- Scroll to the "Featured" section and click on the "+" icon to add media.
- Select "Add Media" and upload your PDF file.
- Optionally, you can describe the media and add a title.
- Click "Apply" to upload the PDF.
Save and publish:
- Click "Save" to add the certificate to your LinkedIn profile.
- You see a message that your license or certification has been updated.
- Optionally you can click "Next" to create a post to share your achievements with your network. Or click "skip" to skip the posting step.
- The new certificate should now be visible under the "Licenses & Certifications".
